Xpsoria Psoriasis Oil is a steroid-free Ayurvedic oil for dry, scaly and itchy psoriasis on the body and scalp. It uses the same herb-infused base as Xpsoria Psoriasis Cream, with thyme and neem added, in an oil that spreads easily over large areas and through the hair.

Eases dryness and itching on large patches and on the scalp
Helps keep moisture in between flares
Contains no steroids, so it can be used daily over the long term

Full ingredient list

Pippali oil infused with Ayurvedic herbs: Patola (pointed gourd), Nimba (neem), Katuka (kutki), Darvi (daruharidra, tree turmeric), Parpata and Bhunimba (kalmegh).

Olive oil infused with: bitter gourd, marigold, banana leaves and bay leaves.

Plant oils: sesame oil, babchi (bakuchi) oil, black cumin oil, chaulmoogra oil, karanja oil and tamanu oil.

Essential oils: juniper berry, frankincense, tea tree, cedarwood, lavender, thyme and neem.

How to use

On the body: after bathing, while skin is still slightly damp, massage a few drops into the patches until absorbed. Use twice a day.

On the scalp: part the hair and massage a small amount into the affected areas. Leave it on for at least an hour, or overnight under a shower cap, then wash with a mild shampoo. Don't pick or comb scale off; let the oil loosen it.

Herbal oils work gradually, so use it regularly for a few weeks.

Cream or oil?

Choose the oil for the scalp and for large or very dry areas. Choose Xpsoria Psoriasis Cream for smaller, thick plaques on elbows and knees, and Xpsoria G Cream for palms and soles.

Good to know

Patch-test first: apply a little to the inner arm and wait 24 hours before wider use.
Sun: babchi oil can make skin more sensitive to sunlight. Avoid strong sun on treated areas, or apply at night.
For external use only. Keep away from eyes, and don't apply on open, bleeding or infected skin.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, using prescription psoriasis treatment, or buying for a child, check with your doctor first.
